Oh, you’ve probably seen it all. Loads of people selling you amulets to guarantee you’ll meet your soulmate, or potions to make you more attractive, or even spells to bring back a lost lover. Preying on the gullible is big business! However, love doesn’t have to be hard to find, and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune to find it. I’ve been in this business for over 30 years, and I promise you that what I’m about to share with you is the only love spell you’ll ever need.
Ingredients
You’re going to need the following:
- Vanilla essence (extract). Get a brand new bottle, and get the real thing, not the imitation flavoring. It can usually be found in the baking aisle of the supermarket.
- A length of pink yarn, 13 inches in length. Use a natural fiber like cotton or wool, not man made.
- A length of red yarn, natural fiber, also 13 inches in length.
- An airtight container. A cookie tin or a jam jar is fine, but it must be new and unused.
- Sugar. Again, I’d recommend getting something new and unused, but you don’t want to have to buy a whole bag of sugar just for this ritual. My suggestion is to get a couple of the little packets of sugar like they put on the tables in restaurants, or by the coffee machines in convenience stores. You need two packets, and you need them to be sugar, not sugar substitute.
When to Do this Spell
You’ll want to do this when the Moon is going from new to full. It will work in any sign, but if you can line it up to when Venus is in either Libra or Taurus, you might get faster results. Do NOT do this when Venus is going retrograde! If you’re in doubt about the timing, consult a farmer’s almanac, your astrologer, or drop me a line.
Prelude to the Ritual
When you’re ready to start this ceremony that is going to bond you to your future love, you’ll want to take a shower or a bath. Put two drops of the vanilla in your bathtub, or of you’re having a shower, put two drops of it in the shower pan. As you do, repeat these words:
“As the sweet smell fills my body, my love for you fills my soul.”
Now bathe as you normally would, washing your hair, drying yourself with a fresh towel, and putting on clean clothing. The whole point of this is that you’re cleansing yourself in preparation of what is yet to come. Do not have anything to eat or drink between the time that you take this bath and the time that you do your spell.
Ceremony
Step One
Take the bottle of vanilla again, and put one drop on each side of your forehead, and massage it into your temples. As you do, repeat the words:
“As the sweet smell fills my body, my love for you fills my soul.”
Really believe this. Really call out to the universe, and know that you’re starting a journey towards finding the person with whom you’re going to spend the rest of your life. Feel your heart lighten. Feel what it is like to be in love with this person. When you feel that flood of contentment and fulfillment permeating your being, it’s time to pick up the two strands of yarn.
Step Two
Still focusing on feeling this love in your heart, start to loosely tie the two strands of yarn together. There’s no wrong way to do this, but I always preferred to use a square knot. As you pick up the piece of yarn that is going to represent you, repeat these words:
“This represents me, straight on the path to uniting with you, my true love.”
As you pick up the piece of yarn that is going to represent your lover, repeat these words:
“This represents you, straight on your path to uniting with me, your true love.”
Slowly start to tie the pieces of yarn together into, and repeat these words, one for each knot you tie:
“By knot of one, the spell’s begun.”
“By knot of two, it’s coming true.”
“By knot of three, so mote it be.”
“By knot of four, I’m through the door.”
“By knot of five, it’s come alive.”
Step Three
Now you’re going to open the sugar packets, and, one by one, put them into the airtight container. As you empty the first packet, repeat the following:
“My life will be sweeter for being with you.”
As you empty the second packet, say these words:
“Your life will be sweeter for being with me.”
Step Four
Now you’re going to wait. Put on some nice music, something that is romantic and positive. Sit holding onto the cord, and daydream of all the things that you and your lover are going to do together. Imagine coming home, knowing this person is waiting for you. Imagine the holidays together, shopping for the two of you, and how your life will change and be positively enriched because you’re together. There’s no time limit to how long you have to sit here, creating these scenarios in your mind, but the longer the better. Just don’t fall to sleep, though, or you’ll have to start all over again!
Step Five
When you’ve seen in your mind how your life is going to be with your lover in it, and you feel comfortable and content in this, then it’s time to tighten the knots you’ve made in the cord. Remember, you’re drawing love to you. You can’t think this is going to happen, or hope it is going to happen, or even believe it is going to happen. You have to know that it is happening, right here, right now, that every moment that passes from this day forward is going to draw that love right into your life, and your heart. When the knots are tied, place the cord in the airtight container that has the sugar in it, and seal it shut. Place this under your bed, and do not disturb it. Place the bottle of vanilla next to it–you’ll be using that again.
Patience
The rest is patience! You’ve called your lover to you. It’s done, and it is a certainty. What is uncertain is the timing, and the more impatient you get, the longer it is going to take for this person to come. Think of it this way. You don’t go to bed at night thinking, “I hope that the sun will rise tomorrow. I know it is nighttime, now, but I wonder if it is always going to stay nighttime, or if there will indeed be a morning.” No! You go to bed and you’re secure that morning will come. You don’t give it a second thought. You have to have that same faith that you’re lover is on the way, otherwise you bring doubt into things–and into the relationship that is about to unfold, and you don’t want to do that, now, do you?
Repeat
One more thing. Every full Moon, retrieve the bottle of vanilla from under your bed, and place two drops on the top of the airtight container, repeating the words that you used when you took your shower:
“As the sweet smell fills my body, my love for you fills my soul”.
Keep on doing this, even after your lover arrives, for this is a sure way, not just to bring you together, but to keep you together too, and that’s what makes this the only love spell you’ll ever need.
