Question: I applied for a job, I had a phone screening that went very well. I was told that I was being moved to the next step and would hear about scheduling an interview in a few days. Over a week later, i received an email from the lady I had the screening with saying things were taking longer than expected and to be patient. Two more weeks go by and I received another email stating the same thing. Almost a month later, no interview. Will I be getting this job? Are they even actually hiring?

You’ve got to admit it was very nice that the woman contacted you twice to let you know there would be a delay. Some companies aren’t that efficient. Spirit can see turmoil in the company. They want to hire more workers, but management says there isn’t enough money to pay more workers. Eventually they will contact you and tell you that they won’t be hiring anyone else.
