Question: My husband and I have been married for almost 32 years he seems distant anymore, he never initiates anything if I ask if anything is bothering him about our marriage or how he feels about me he stonewalling. We get along, he just doesn’t initiate conversation, affection, nothing. It is always me initiating everything, he’s perceptive to affection just not communication. Nor does he compliment anything anymore. It’s only started in the past year or so. 32 years is too long to just give up on this. I’m not giving up on my marriage until he comes out and says he wants out. Maybe I’m being naive to the situation but I’m not going to be the one to walk out when I don’t want my marriage to end. Is my marriage going to be OK or has he fallen out of love or is he with someone else?
