Question: Hi, I hope you’re doing well. Can the Mercury retrograde in April, somewhat influence in a good way, the bad effects of the eclipse? Thank you.

In general, Mercury retrograde is considered a negative event, unless you were born under a Mercury retrograde, which you were. Also, this retrograde will happen in your 12th house of your subconscious, so you may end up with some really great dreams.
The eclipse on April 8th will oppose your natal Mars (energy) and Saturn (restrictions) in your house of day-to-day work. Watch your temper at work, and don’t react to any negative news. And I doubt that Mercury retrograde will buffer much of that.
