Sparrow Moon's Astrology Forecasts

Sparrow Moon’s Astrology for Week of Dec 15th

Power and Energy Boost

Mars, the planet of energy, will move into Capricorn, the sign of discipline, on Monday and will remain there for the next two months. This period is ideal for starting a new, detailed project, especially after Friday when the New Moon occurs. Perhaps it’s a good time to begin knitting a bedspread or working on that oil painting.

Tuesday will be a day focused on disciplined work, as the Sun and Saturn are in conflict. We’ll be ready for serious reflection, and the Scorpio Moon may intensify our emotions.

Late morning Wednesday (early morning on the West Coast), the Moon will enter Sagittarius, likely boosting our optimism. It’s a perfect day for a road trip and plenty of laughter. Make sure to take some time for fun—we all deserve it.

On Thursday, Venus, the planet of love and money, will send positive energy to Chiron, the wounded comet, but will be out of sync with Jupiter, the jovial planet. Some people might find themselves deeply contemplating their romantic relationships, while others may worry excessively about finances. It’s best to wait until Sunday before making any major decisions.

The Sagittarius New Moon will take place around 9 p.m. Eastern Time (6 p.m. Pacific) on Friday, making it an excellent time for New Moon rituals. However, with the Sun and Neptune in conflict, our judgment may be impaired, so it’s wise to postpone any significant changes for a few days.

Saturday will be dominated by the Sun-Neptune square, which will continue to cloud our judgment, so avoid making big decisions. Additionally, Venus and Saturn will be at odds, potentially leading to critical or sarcastic conversations, especially with loved ones. Jupiter will also be in conflict with Chiron, causing many to feel self-pity. It’s a good day to work alone.

Sunday, December 21st, marks the official start of Winter and the Sun’s entry into Capricorn. (Though those of us in the Midwest have already been experiencing winter for the past three weeks, and I’m definitely tired of the bitter cold and snow. 🥶) The Moon will enter a favorable phase late in the evening (early evening on the West Coast), making it an excellent time to start a new project and make decisions you’ve been putting off. Happy Solstice!
