Question: I got my clothes yesterday, the hardest thing ever. He knows he done wrong, will he stop drinking so i can go back home. Im hoping he choice is me.

Hi, Nations0628!
If he stops drinking for you, it will never work. He has to do it for his own sake, not for anyone else. It’s easy to stop drinking. But it’s extremely difficult to stay sober.
A lot of alcoholics quit, fall off the wagon, quit again, fall off again, and quit once again. Most of the time it’s a long slow process.
Also, if you want to be with him, you are going to have to start working on your own codependent behaviors, or you will push him right back into to booze. So start looking now for an Al-Anon meeting that works for you.
Spirit feels you will need to maintain the separation from him before he’ll even begin thinking about getting sober.
