Question: My husband started acting funny a few years ago. Completely changed on me
I started finding pieces of things that 1 would relate to cheating. It happened multiple times. I caught him in lies. And I feel in my heart of hearts that something is not right. Like he is hiding something. We have just this week split up. He acts like someone is making him go. Something is not adding up. With what I have it’s not enough evidence. I need to know, what is he hiding, cheating, or what, how do I get solid proof of what he is doing and when can I, what do I need to do… Can I get him to admit it. I need answers so I can have peace of mind. Because this is making me have breakdowns anxiety. I know in my heart something is not right. But he will not say. He just keeps blaming me. And talking about me like I am nothing. But it is almost like he is saying this stuff trying to make himself believe it. Like he is trying to convince himself. Almost like someone is telling him this. I have to know what is going on with him.

It is so hard when you love someone so much, but they don’t feel the same dedication to you. I understand how hard it can be to accept the reality of a situation, when you so badly want it to be something else. But Spirit is making it very clear that you are never going to get an honest answer from your husband. And she is certain that he has cheated on you. He may even be a sex addict, and he may need help to get control of his addiction.
Spirit is playing the Janis Joplin song, Me and Bobby McGee, for me. The line “Freedom is really just another word for something left to lose,” is expressing your situation. You want your husband to be honest and faithful. And setting yourself free isn’t helping a bit.
Spirit says you can take him back and go back to the way things were, not knowing the truth. Or you can set him free and never get any closure from him. Spirit also wants to remind you that you can’t change him. Only he can change himself. All you can do is forgive him or leave him.
