Question: I decided to end the friendship\/relationship with the person I mentioned in my previous questions. You were right. I want to focus more energy into my professional \/ work life. Right now I have a really good job and will get substantial automatic promotions every year for 3 years. It’s a pretty smooth job and I like it. That being said, I still want more. Will I stay in this job or will I get an even better offer (money-wise) in the future?<\/p>\n

Spirit feels it’s not a matter of whether you will stay with this job. It’s more a matter of whether your job will keep you. The economy is so unpredictable now. And some businesses rise and fall very rapidly. Therefore, you can’t count on this job to be there for you as long as you want.<\/p>\n

Spirit feels that eventually a lay-off will come. So do what you can to save money. And maybe even start a little business on the side to help you through the lean times. You have the stars to be an independent business man.<\/p>\n
